Lower Elwha Klallam Tribe Election Committee The results for the May 28, 2022 Lower Elwha Klallam Tribal Chairperson election are as follows: 165 total valid ballots were cast of which, 69 were drive-thru poll ballots, 53 ballots mailed-in and 43 mail-in ballots were dropped off. 1 ballots was invalid, which had no accompanying voter affidavit. IMPORTANT ELECTION COMMITTEE ANNOUNCEMENT There is a vacancy on the LEKT Election Committee. A single sign-up sheet will be posted in the tribal center lobby beginning on April 8, 2022 until May 15, 2022. All interested parties should print their name on the sign-up sheet and submit a letter of interest to the Tribal Council Executive Assistant by May 15, 2022. Tribal Council will then appoint a new member to the LEKT Election Committee.

There is a vacancy on the LEKT Election Committee. A single sign-up sheet will be posted in the tribal center lobby for ten business days beginning on (February 15, 2022 until -March 01, 2022.) All interested parties should print their name on any of the sign-up sheets and submit a letter of interest to the Tribal Council Executive Assistant, Elaine McFadden, by March 01, 2022.
