Tribal Member Outreach for Strategic Planning
Dear Tribal Members, The Lower Elwha Klallam Tribe’s Business Committee is undertaking an important initiative to update our strategic plan for the next five years. Blue Stone Strategy Partners has been retained to assist in developing a five-year Comprehensive Strategic Plan. It is important to have the voice of our Tribal Members heard during the process of developing the plan. Public Health Proclamation on Advancing COVID Vaccines
On Tuesday 8/9/22 the Business Committee passed resolution 70-22 Public Health Proclamation on Advancing COVID Vaccines in the LEKT Community: Resolution 70-22 Public Health Proclamation On Advancing COVID Vaccines in LEKT Community) This resolution encourages everyone aged 6 months and older in the LEKT community to remain up to date on their COVID vaccines and participate in the COVID vaccine support program. 2022 Chairperson Election Results
Lower Elwha Klallam Tribe Election Committee The results for the May 28, 2022 Lower Elwha Klallam Tribal Chairperson election are as follows: 165 total valid ballots were cast of which, 69 were drive-thru poll ballots, 53 ballots mailed-in and 43 mail-in ballots were dropped off. 1 ballots was invalid, which had no accompanying voter affidavit. Vote totals for each candidate were as follows: Frances “Gator” Charles 109 Russell “Razz” Hepfer 28 Edward V. Johsnon 18 Steve Joaquin Robideau 8 Anthony Charles 2 Frances “Gator” Charles is the candidate with the highest number of votes and has accordingly been elected to …READ MORE
