It’s that time of the year!  The Lower Elwha Klallam Tribe and the Lower Elwha Housing Authority are offering    The Annual Free Dump To Tribal members Beginning Wednesday, May 6, 2020 (Until funds run out)   Must show your (current) tribal enrollment ID card or your hunting/fishing ID or spouse card No BOATS, TRAILERS OR MOTORS (of any kind) Refrigerators (Must take doors off), Stoves, Washers, Dryers and Tires are OK  Residential garbage only– Tribal Departments must pay out of their own budget   Time to Spring Clean! Business Committee Election – 5/2/2020

  Saturday May 2nd, 2020 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM Drive-Thru polling will be available but Mail-In Ballots Strongly Encouraged   The LEKT Election Committee is recommending and requesting that as many voters as possible utilize their mail-in ballots to cast their votes in both 2020 Elections (General and Chair). Because of the Covid-19 pandemic, mailing in your ballot is by far the safest way to vote. COVID-19 (coronavirus) Testing At Elwha Clinic

Dear Lower Elwha Tribal Community, The Health department would like to inform you about the need for getting COVID-19 (coronavirus) testing if you have any respiratory symptoms. We are doing drive up testing in the health department parking lot. Elwha Clinic Expanded Patient Hours

Additional appointments are now available at: 4:30 pm, 5:00 pm, 5:30 pm and 6:00 pm. We have implemented very strict procedures in order to ensure the safety of all patients.  You may have noticed the trailer at the back of the clinic for patients with respiratory illnesses.  No one with a cough, fever or other respiratory symptoms will come into the clinic during this time.  Please respect this policy so we can protect the community from any risk of exposure. The Lower Elwha Mental Health Program offers help for people of all ages who are struggling with difficult emotions, problem behaviors, or who are experiencing difficulties in their relationships. Whether you need temporary support through a difficult time, or help recovering from lifelong trauma, we are available to help. Our staff of accomplished licensed professionals have experience helping people of all ages and with many different types of life problems.
