In order to qualify for a Lower Elwha Klallam tribe higher education scholarship you need to be an enrolled tribal member.
Free Application for Federal Student Aid is available at www.fafsa.ed.gov – this is FREE application. There are sites that get you to the end then say you have to pay – if that happens, it’s not the right sight. When you apply, be sure to have your tax forms from 2 years prior as that is what they will base their decision on. You can apply before you (or your parents file if you are under 24) complete your tax forms, but you will need to go back into the site ASAP to complete, as I have it on good authority that the sooner you apply the more funding you will be eligible to receive.
The sooner you apply for FAFSA – the more funding you are eligible to receive – DO IT NOW!!!
