On Friday, July 12th the second and final phase of construction on Charles Road will take place.
Workers from Lakeside Industries will start at approximately 7:30 a.m. laying asphalt on the graded road. The asphalt will run from Lower Elwha Road to the end of public access. Once they begin work, Charles Road will be closed to ALL traffic for a minimum of 24 hours.
Residents are asked to plan ahead for this closure. Social Services staff and visitors will need to use the driveway on Lower Elwha Road and refrain from parking near the construction area.
