Get outside and get active, for nature’s sake
Please join Natural Resources of LEKT for planting events to help install native trees and shrubs on the Elwha River and beach plants on Ediz Hook.
Please bring shovel, gloves, sturdy footwear, warm clothing, snack, and water for all events.

- Indian Creek: Wednesday, February 15th 10am-1pm
Meet on the shoulder of Highway 101 westbound at the junction with Herrick Road in west Port Angeles. Look for volunteer parking signage
.5 mile past 101 Bridge.
- Aldwell Reservoir: Tuesday, February 28th 9:30am-12:30pm
Meet at former boat launch at the end of Lake Aldwell Rd.
- MILLS Reservoir: Tuesday, March 21st 9:00am-12:30pm or 1:00pm-4pm
Meet at Madison Falls parking lot at the end of Hot Springs Rd. Expect a physically challenging day with approximately 4 miles of hiking and driving part way with LEKT staff.
- Ediz Hook: Thursday, March 23rd 10am-12:30pm or 1:00pm-3:30pm
Meet on Ediz Hook about 3/4 way down on the port side. Look for volunteer signage.
